Subject: Rabbi Moshe's Anti-Missionary "hit list"

Shalom Friends,

I recently discovered that I have been put on Rabbi Moshe Koniuchowsky's "hit list" of Anti-Missionaries and those who deny the deity of Y'shua.  I am actually second on the list.  This list has proven to be a good source for finding allies and friends.  http://www.yourarmstoisrael.org/misc/?page=deny

This email is also being sent out to others on Koniuchowsky's list.

I am a bit disappointed that Moshe did not read my article on the Redemption of Israel http://www.bnai-el-chai.com/redemption.htm because then he might have rated me as an "AM" (for Anti-Missionary) instead of a "D" (for denies deity).

He has also said "These leaders are listed because they have some degree of influence and were at one time well known in the messianic community."  Though I am flattered by this, I seriously doubt that I am "well known" or that my influence extends much beyond a couple hundred people (down from a high of 745 people).  As a result of being posted on Koniuchowsky's website, however, I have gained a number of new subscribers to my occasional newsletters.  Maybe the old Hollywood adage is true: "Any publicity is good publicity.

At times I forward material from other people -- I even forward material that I do not necessarily agree with (sometimes even without any of my own commentary).  I am very secure and I am not threatened by knowledge.  This is why I am always mystified by those who get offended (by something that I have said or that I have forwarded) and drop off of my list.  Instead of being offended it might be a better idea to share your disagreements.  I am always open to learning something.  It is only the insecure who are afraid of having their ideas challenged.

Kol tov,
Shomeir
