EPHRAIMITE ENCOUNTER TOUR UPDATE

The first eventful week of the second Ephraimite Encounter Tour ended this evening and what a full and wondrous week it was! Repeatedly our tour participants are receiving accolades of encouragement and praise, not to mention words of appreciation, for the blessing they have been to the Jews that they have traveled to meet. Jews from all walks of life in Israel. Jews who were asked to present to these pioneering Ephraimites, yet discovered a reciprocal blessing in the process! The group's testimonies of spiritual journeys from paganism and a quest for truth have been more than inspiring to the Jews who are giving of their time and experience to share their hearts and minds with our tour group. Truly, this is dialogue ... where mutual conversation results in mutual edification and a keen desire to maintain contact and get to know one another better.

During their first week, our tour group spent several days in the Shomeron ... in Eretz Ephraim ... visting with settlers in Ithamar, Har Bracha, Kfar Tappuach, Migron and Ofra, as well as visiting the Mishkan excavation site at Shiloh, and the Arutz-7 studio in Bet El. While in Kar Tappuach, Mike Guzoffsky of the Jewish Legion educated tour participants on the highly effective anti-terrorist dog program that the Jewish Legion has developed. In the photo below, the tour group looks on in rapt attention as Mike introduces them to each member of their valued canine defense team.

Returning to Jerusalem, the group met with Prof. Paul Eidelberg, leader of the Yamin Israel Party, as well as Rabbi Avraham Feld and author Yair Davidy of BritAm, before enjoying a peaceful Shabbat. The first day of their second week in Israel included visits to The Kotel and the Temple Mount, as well as fascinating discussions with Rabbi Chaim Richman at The Temple Institute, and Michael Matar, Administrator of Women in Green. On Tuesday, following participation in The Temple Mount Faithful's annual Chanukkah March from Modiin to The Temple Mount, we will head to Gush Etsion for a two and a half day visit to Judea, including Kiryat Arba, Hevron, and several settlements in the Judean desert.

More updates to follow ...
